Does anyone have a work at home type job that doesn't involve selling anything.  I'm trying to think of something I can do part-time from the RV that can earn me some income.  In my former life I was an administrative assistant so I have excellent clerical and computer skills.

I know that there are medical transcriptionists that work from home.  I would need some extra training to do that.  From what I have learned, most internet work at home companies require you to have a land line or cable connection for internet.  We just have an aircard.

I'm hoping to pick your brains for ideas.

You're right, the legitimate companies who have virtual customer service agents require cable internet & land line.  So that doesn't work too well when you're traveling!

There are a lot of work from home jobs that involve call centers that range from technical support of any type of equipment you can think of to just customer service. The hours are very convenient. Every shift is available in some of these jobs. What you do need however is a rock solid internet connection because it would not be uncommon to have multiple screens up into different applications at the same time, possibly streaming into someones pc (if it is pc support), and all the people that have these kind of jobs use voip through the call center software system. I suggest looking in careerbuilder and monster. Search for call center, customer service or technical support jobs.
