Well, I was involved in a collision with the 5ver - a real bummer. But, at least no one was injured and most of the damage was cosmetic. A lot of scraping of the driver's side paint and fiberglass, broken window, mangled sheet metal body parts, etc. The collision occured in Va. & I took the 5ver to a shop in Pa close to family so that we had a place to stay while being estimated. I got real bad vibes from that shop though so I've decided to take it back to Florida for repairs.
Can anyone recommend a trustworthy shop in Florida who can repair extensive cosmetic damage? e.g. fiberglass damage, 5 color swirly painting, broken window, etc. Has anyone had luck with taking a RV to a shop who doesn't carry their RV brand - I worry about access to replacement parts specific to the brand. This one's a 2009 Carriage Cameo.
I've read in an earlier post about Lazy Days in Florida and that there were a lot of both horror & good stories - anyone had experience with them, good or bad?
Thanks for any & all inputs!

FWIW, Lazy Days is the largest Carriage dealer in the US. Also, most repair shops will order specific parts from the manufacturer so that they match up exactly.
We had a blow out some years ago that caused some body damage and had it repaired by a regular auto collision place that was recommended by an RV dealer. They ordered the fender skirt from Carriage and did the rest themselves. Paint and decals matched perfectly. We were very happy with the work.
Good luck,

RV Collision in Ocala is good. Have a huge paint spray booth for rv's etc.
