We just removed our benches from the dinette and are now going to use 4 chairs. Now do they have to be tied down for the journey down the road or let them stand on their own. any advice would be appreciated, thank you

I think it depends on the type of chair, the weight of the chair,and the floor surface. Attaching two of the chairs together might be an option. G

My rig came with tie downs for the chairs, used them for a while. Because I tend to be a little LAZY some times quit using the tie downs, chairs haven't moved enough to be of concern. The table was in the way when we stopped on the road for lunch, sooooo, I unscrewed it from the floor so I could reposition it during travel which gave more access to the ref and so forth for on the road lunch, it doesn't move either.
