Hello All... Wanted your advise. We are a young couple Kid free thinking about leaving the corp world and hitting the road. Almost debt free except truck/rv. Is it possible to make a living on the road. We are hard workers, honest people just tired of living the fenced in life that society has created. I SAY GO FOR IT. But since we are newbies just wanted some imput... thanks for your suggestions and Happy Trails.

I think that the two of you are the only people who can completely answer that question, because it depends on what you require and how hard you're willing to work to get what you want. The fact that you don't have a lot of debt is in your favor. Do you have a plan to pay off the debt that you do have? I'd suggest looking at the monthly budget of fulltimers like H&L and adjusting according to what you need/want. Think about your skills, then imagine how you could use those skills if you were on the road. Are you planning to travel to a certain area then get jobs there for a while, or perhaps you want to workamp. As with any major life decision, some forethought, research & planning is wise before jumping in. Most things can be done and I imagine you can do this if it's really what you want. This is a great place to learn & ask questions. So read, read, read, search the forum & ask questions. Good Luck!!
