Well recently I tried geocaching here locally and at first thought I'd really like it but after going out a handful of times (and thankfully not purchasing a handheld GPS) I've come to the conclusion I don't think I really care for it. LOL! Maybe because I'm doing it here in town and going out for hikes would be better but with 90 degree temps right around the corner I think I'll put this hobby on hold.
Now for my other hobby, crocheting! I tried this years ago when I made an afghan for myself to take camping but since I'm not doing that currently its now on my bed. Two plus years later I've decided to give it another try and well this time I'm really enjoying it. So far I've completed a large solid granny square afghan for my daughter, a large ripple for hubby (almost done) and currently working on a small ripple baby blanket for Project Linus.
I think this will be a fun, easy hobby to keep me busy and help a good cause.
So any of you folks here crochet as a hobby?
