I've got a both a Honda Accord all set up with kayak racks and bike racks that I thought I would tow behind my 2004 Brave. But NO 4 wheel down.
What's your experience with/opinion of having a dolly? Hate to buy another car and then have it outfitted to tow. Whew what an expense but IF in the long run the consensus of those who know says better idea then I need to get planning that.
thanks for the help Sherry

i have done both. and 4 down is so much easier. a good dolly will cost you the same maybe a bit less than the tow system. yes we bought a different car to tow. just ease and time, not to mention some places dont have enough room for you to put a dolly. i would vote 4 down if finacially able

Check out Remcotowing.com. They are experts and many vehicles can be towed 4 down even when the manufacturer does not recommend it or they can be modified. I modified my Toyota Tacoma with a replacement drive shaft and it works fine.
It cost less than a tow dolly and one less item to mess with when traveling.
