In California the lots are in the $50K and up range. I'm guessing the average cost is around $80K. The association dues are high as well. One park we looked at was $600 per month. It seems to be a great way to spend time in a well cared for and feature rich RV resort. We've actually considered rent a space from an owner for several months. For example in a resort where the spaces run from $89K up to $300K we found an owner with a space they would rent for four months for about $1600 plus electricity. We thought this might be a better alternative for the next few years while the housing market shakes out than buying a lot.
