We have applied and are currently in the process considering a position for this summer. They actually called us. This is our first year workamping and thought we would really have a problem getting our first jobs. If you have any thoughts, advise, or experience, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Hello,
I follow (translate: lurk around) the blog of a full timing couple, Bill and Cap, and they have spent the past several summers workamping in Yellowstone and they love it. Their blog address is

I have a feeling they would welcome your questions.
Good luck with your decision. I am envious.

I wish I would have seen this thread earlier. I worked in Yellowstone in 1997 but I was not in an RV I was in the employee dorm. I worked at Grant Village and they had a spot for employee RVs in the employee parking lot. If I remember correctly they had electric, sewer and water but no cable television. I am not sure if they have cable television hookup or wifi now but you can ask some on http://coolworks.com.
Thanks!
