We are not new to fulltiming, however, we have always owned a gas motorhome. We have just purchased a Fleetwood Dynasty, we take delivery 3/19. We don't know anything about a diesel pusher or about the propane generator. Any advise on what to expect and lookout for would be apreciated.

Can't comment on the diesel pusher, but the propane generator is almost trouble free. We just make sure we run it for about 15 minutes every 3 months or so and change the oil at the manufacturers recommendations. It's a pleasure, just press a button and you have electricity.
The only problem is, we hardly ever boondock and we're carrying a boat anchor in the front compartment. If there was a do over, I'd buy a Honda and save $4K.

Since "Dynasty" is a Monaco model name I suspect you must mean a Discovery, which is a Fleetwood model name.
Propane generators work fine, but use a lot of propane and with a motorhome you have to take the entire motorhome to fuel the propane and many places with propane can't fuel a motorhome so you have to be selective. People who intend to use the generator a lot on a diesel pusher pay extra to have a diesel generator which will run a long time off the same fuel tank as the engine. If you are only going to use the generator occasionally you will be fine. Both propane and diesel generators will last a long time and are fairly trouble free.
You will love being able to fuel up at truck stops. You will love your engine brake. You will love your air suspension. Having the engine in back means it is quieter while driving.
What made you decide to get this particular motorhome, including the propane generator? How do you intend to travel? These kind of questions will help us help you.
I will be blunt and say you probably should have asked before ordering, but these kind of decisions are often made quickly.

Your right, Dynasty is what we wanted, but was out of our price range. It is a Discovery by fleetwood. Sorry.
Actually, we needed to upgrade from 1989 Pace Arrow, it was past time. Anyway, I liked the floorplan, had everything I wanted. Hubby, wanted diesel, from everyting he was reading and when the saleman said that the propane didn't have any fumes, he was sold on the propane gen. We got to test drive one and he was sold on the ride, turning radius and how it drove. I don't drive the RV, so it didn't matter to me. I know I should learn to drive it, but if something were to happen, I know how to unhook the car and go. We are thinking that this will be the last MH we will own. It was a tough decision and we tried to do our reasearch, but there's nothing like real personal experience. Thanks,
