I'm considering participating in the Adsense program.  Guess I'm wondering is it worth it?  Does anyone actually see any earnings from this?  I know it won't be much but just wondering if it actually has any results.

I don't have personal experience with Google Adsense. I have talked with several folks who have added it to their website. Most only see a very small amount of income from it. I know the key to getting income from these types of programs is to get a ton of hits daily on your website. So you need to have a website that will draw visitors, popular subjects, good content....but even with high visits unless the visitor clicks on an ad from your site, no revenue will flow.

Tioga George makes over $1000 a month from Adsense. It's his second largest source of income after SS. Of course he has thousands of readers, and I think many of them click on ads as a way of helping him. Most people I've heard that have tried it, find it useless though.

The old adage "You get out, what you put in" definitely applies. But hey, it doesn't cost anything to be an ad-sense publisher, so it's not like you lose anything.
