Thought some of you might enjoy this link. I've never been there but after visiting the site I added Glacier NP to my bucket list. Hope you enjoy the photo's.

It's on my bucket list as well. I remember going through it as a kid and have always wanted to go back.

This made my 'places to see' list early on in our full-time RV plans. Now I'm even *more* excited!
Love those pictures.

Made me want to go back. We visited in July 2008 and loved it.

We've been to Glacier more that once and have really enjoyed it. Once we had to wait for the snowplows to clear the road in the spring before we could take a tour of the park, and then the next day, they closed the road again because of snow.
The park web site has lots of info on the park and will tell you when the main road is open, (if you're there in the spring or fall),
We like staying on the East side of the park better than the West side. The East side is not so "touristy", and there is a CG, (I think it's Johnson's) that's up on a hill where you can get a site that overlooks the valley, a lake, and entrance to the park. (Very scenic.)
It's definitely a good place to put on your bucket list.

As Jim mentioned, the weather can be very problematic. The window for visiting is pretty small. The only really good time to see it all is in July and August. We visited in early September a few years ago and the Going to the Sun Road was already closed for the season.

Right Fred, I think it was about the 2nd or 3rd week in June when we were there and had to wait for the plows.

Glacier National Park was one of the most special places we visited on our trip. I really enjoyed my time there and met some interesting folks. If interested, you can read my blog from the trip - there's lots of great pics of the park as well. What a magical place!
We gone through Glacier on a motorcycle trip. A great place. But I'm looking forward to the next trip through that I hope will be in the rv at a slower pace.
