Just the other on the Fox News Channel they showed a report on this Company. It showed how the workers ran to get their jobs completed and on that day they had 22 to put out. We did not see or was it reported if any quality control was used. They were mainly showing the workers running from job to job. We would steer clear from this company as the old saying goes: "Haste makes waste". As we all know when we run to get the job done some things are forgotten.

Based on that, you'd be steering clear of nearly all the manufacturers. Most of them work on the same piecework system that was seen on TV.
Cougar is made by Keystone which in turn is owned by Thor Industries. That's nearly half of all RV's out there!
To the original question, I don't own one, but they're really nice units at their price-point, for what I've seen.

I agree with Tony on this. In my early 20's I worked in manufacturing. The pace looks hectic but is very organized.I can assure you there were quality control personel on each phase as in the final inspection. Keystone makes many different levels of coaches from vacation level to higher end.I don't know for sure but I think Cougar is in the vacation level. I suggest finding the owners group web site and seeing what they say.I am sure many people are happy with their Cougar and will respond. Will you be Full Time ? That will play into what you should look at. Just remember opinions are subjective to what the writer owns sometimes. You came to the right place to ask though. Happy hunting.
