Hi Everyone! I am replacing and upgrading my 4 TT tires and getting 1 spare. The best tire I can get is 225/75d15. Does anyone know what brand of tires are the best for trailers? Are you just paying extra for the name on the tire? Also from sitting around the rims have developed a little rust. What is the best way to deal with the rust and then cover it up?I thank you for all of your input!

Thunder...
My TT is around 7600 pounds and I bought, about 18 months ago, Goodyear Marathon tires (around $110 a tire at Wal-Mart). I have had good luck with them so far (except last weekend when I picked up something on I-75 south of Atlanta and shredded one tire). But other than that, I am happy with them.
Some have told me that the best tire is one with the greatest load range. I guess overkill is better than not having enough tire to do the job and take all the stress that they absorb when turning. I had Maxxis tires before and they were worthless. I chucked them after having all kinds of problems going over the Smoky Mountain National Parkway. Talk about a white knuckle drive!

Just one man's opinion...
