We are currently doing all our research for full time rving. We were very impressed with the information we read on the RV Journal about the RV Life on Wheels rallies. I have since tried to go on their website and cannot find them. Do they still exist? If not, is there something similar to this to help newbees on the east coast?

With the death Gaylord Maxwell, the founder of Life On Wheels, the program went away.
However, the RV Safety Education Foundation (RVSEF) is trying to fill the void. They are holding their RV Lifestyle, Education, and Safety Clinic in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania this September. The dates are 9/13 - 9/16.
Of course, we are holding our RV-Dreams Rally in Texas in October and there will be lots of education there. In the future, I expect we will hold more educational rallies each year.

Jill...not sure where you are but the Canadian version still exists and runs in June every year at Okanagan College in Kelowna, BC. The college will have the details. I think next year is the 14 annual course. I went in 06 and it was 4 days long with a large number of course options....alll excellent.
