Has anyone else used "Wireless" Trailer & Vehicle Magnetic Towing Lights?
I purchased a set at Pepboy's auto parts store a couple of months ago for 149.00 and I must say they work pretty darn good. I used them on my boat and utility trailer last week and to pull my car behind my RV last month.
You can strap them on or use the magnetic mounts on the bottoms. All you have to do is plug the transmitter into your towing vehicles trailer wiring plug and then mount the lights on your trailer or car. The transmitter then sends the brake - turn signals and running lights information to the wireless tow lights. Total hook up time for me was less then 1 minute. I will let you know in a couple of months how they are working out.
Let me know if anyone else has a set of these..
P.S. I also found these same lights on the internet at: Store.uhaul.com - sears.com - JCWhitney.com and WirelessTowLights.com web sites for those of you who do not have a Pepboys close.

I talked to one of our guests here at the park about these lights...he said they were junk. He had his remote replaced twice under warranty, and he said they eats batteries. His won't last one day of travel. When he attempted to show me how they work, well they were broke again. He was going to return his and get his money back. He was going to go back to his magnetic mount lights.
Not sure he had the same as you...his was an l.e.d. light bar that mounted on his toad.

Hi Dan,
I don't think we are talking about the same lights. The ones that your friend has are made by a company called TowMate, they make the bar type lights. So that must be what he has. My lights are separate towlights and have strong magnetics on there bases. The nice thing about these are you can remove the magmounts and use the straps that come with the kit... Let me know if we are talking about the same lights, but I don't think we are..
I found 2 places on the internet that sell the same lights that I purchased..
U-Haul and Sears web sites. Here are the link below...
Yep, he had the towmate...sorry, should have done some research before posting. Hope you have better luck with the item you purchased :)

If PepBoys - U-Haul and Sears are selling the WirelessTowlights.com lights (that I purchased) they must be reliable. I don't think that they would be selling junk. I couldn't be happier with there performance... I will keep you all posted..
