LOL how a pizza for dinner shut off our furnace in our Allegro Bus

My husband was trying to be helpful when he came home with a pre-made pizza in a box from the grocery store. Well the pizza didn’t fit in the refrigerator very well, so I decided we better eat it that night. I put it in the oven to heat up. It didn’t fit in the oven very well either. As I was about to take it out he said something to me. I turned to look at him and when I did I pushed the oven door opener. The pizza flew out of the oven and face down onto the beautiful rug in front of the stove. We managed to get it up in spite of our two Border Collies trying to beat us to it. We put the pizza back in order and had our dinner (five second rule <g>). The rug was stained so we took it to the outside shower for a washing. Temps were going to be in the 30’s here in Gunnison CO, so we set the thermostat to furnace and went to bed. I woke up freezing cold and the furnace wasn’t running. I got up and turned the thermostat up still nothing. The bus is new to us and I forgot I could switch from the furnace to the heat pump. I went back to bed still freezing cold. Even the dogs were trying to get under the covers. When it was finally daylight DH went out to the Hydro-Hot system to figure out what was wrong. It turns out when we washed the rug we didn’t shut the outside shower off completely and the dripping of the hot water kept the low temperature switch from working. We turned off the water pump at the shower and like magic we had heat again. Seems there is never a dull day as a newbie MH owner. <g> We are still laughing at ourselves.

Robbie every day we wake up in a new world or RVing! I wouldn't trade it for anything.

A bad day RVing is better than a good day in Sticks and Bricks.
