There is a current post on C to C and the sentiment seems to be running to the negative. An earlier post also ran negative. Do the comments about C to C apply to Resorts of Distinction. Are they different and if so why?

We got Resorts of Distinction when we upgraded our Thousand Trails. We love ROD and have no problem with it or the parks. It pays for itself in usually one stay. Right now we are at an ROD park, Hidden Bluffs in Minnesota. It is a beautiful park. It is also a Coast To Coast Park. While C2C members pay $10 a night, we pay nothing through our ROD membership.

We have ROD and C2C. We try to use the ROD first because they are free. A lot of the parks cross over and we have a choice of program to use. We used both systems a lot over the past 5 months. Since we've already purchased the programs we will keep using them to conserve funds. We are happy with our choice to purchase a membership program. We can also use many TT parks even though we don't have an actual TT membership. Right now, for us, we need to save money until our investments can rebound a little more.
