My salesperson has tried everything....I'm amazed, because I've never had a problem buying anything before and I have an excellent credit rating.
Two things that are hampering me: 1) I'm unemployed, and although I'm getting $1800/month on unemployment, I'm still unemployed therefore I have no current pay stubs. My last stub is dated 4/30/09. 2) the other bank that doesn't require pay stubs is refusing to finance any vehicle over 7 years old - and mine is a 2000.
So my dream may be going down the drain till I get a job, and that could be months from now - and the longer I stay in this rented house, the more money I'll go through in expenses each month. There is a chance the dealer will finance me, but I'll probably have to put a lot of money down and the interest rate will most likely be sky high.....my salesperson will let me know tomorrow.
I'll keep you posted.

Unfortunately I don't....the last twenty years have been tough, I was living hand-to-mouth supporting my son totally on my own, so I wasn't able to save much money. I'm just now getting back on my financial feet, which is why I don't have a tremendous amount in savings.

Hang in there! We'll hope something works out for you soon. The salesperson should be motivated to help you with options! Linda

Look for your own financing:
local community bank,
http://www.barnone.com/Home-Page.aspx
Do a web search for RV Financing there are lots of companies listed
Check craigslist for financing....look out for loan sharks, get references.
www.prosper.com is a source, however they are on hold while taking care of SEC red tape.
Take a look at their website, there may be other companies like this.
