If you have a trade you want to sell, how do you advertise it?

Is it ok to post a sign on your rig? I figure that would get the most attention. I'm thinking maybe put up an index card at the RV park's bulletin board or something...
I am really good at anything with images; taking pictures, turning them into online albums, image restoration, or making hard-copy books from pictures of weddings, etc.
If you'd like to see a sample of what I do, here's a link:

You can advertise both ways and if your going to be in one place for a while I'm sure the local food stores have bulletin boards you can post on and there's also Craigslist. The idea of organizing peoples photos could be a winner, as many fulltimers bring their old photos and then don't do anything with them once they're on the road.
Your work is quite interesting and your blog is charming, good luck,
Fred

Roberta, usually in the rv clubhouses there is a place where you can list whatever you want to sell, providing that you will be there for awhile to sell whatever you will be selling. Also may I suggest that we knew of a couple. She made up name cards....she would take a picture of you or your dogs, or your RV and would sell them at craft shows they would have at the various parks. This would give her some income. southwestjudy

Yes, they were business cards. Just a picture of the couple with they're RV and some would have they're pets put on for a picture and they're email. They really didnt have a business themselves except doing these cards.... they were just full timers and retired. southwestjudy

At a couple of the RV resorts we have stayed at folks would make arrangements with the management to hold a seminar/sales presentation to sell their products or services.
My wife has been to jewelry shows, craft time (you buy a kit and put it together), a brake booster product, Avon, Pampered Chef, cooking demonstrations, financial planning, travel films (available for purchase)...etc
One park holds a street fair, where the RVers can setup a table and sell stuff.
People post on the bulletin board, go to the local swap meet, flea market or fair to sell, one RV park allowed you to put ads on their cable channel, we've had flyers left at our site, people come by our site to sell their product (magnetic items for better health).....

The best part is that I really enjoy doing it!
