We will be ordering a fifth wheel pretty soon and there are several items we will be special ordering , but I wanted to ask ya'll what you recommend as far as protecting my dogs while left in the fifth wheel. We will be doing a lot of boondocking but staying in campgrounds too.
I've read the post and this is what I have gathered so far.
Temperature controlled Fantastic Fans 2
Magnum Automatic Generator Control System
???
Am I missing anything here?? I would like to get whatever is available installed when we order our new fifth wheel. I love my dogs.
Thanks ahead of time for your input:)

I think you're fine with the Fantastic fans. They will prevent the rig from getting exceedingly hot.
Keep in mind that dogs have evolved over 10's of thousands of years before there was anything like air conditioning and they did just fine.
Probably more important than the temperature, is how long we leave them alone. They do miss us so much while we are gone.

I think you must have a backup if your power goes down. Another thing dogs left in a RV for long periods is not a good thing. True dogs have been around for many yrs but not left in an Rv. There is quite a discussion on this on traveling with pets on this forum. southwestjudy

Thanks Fred and Judy.
We have a 12 year old lab and will be getting a puppy soon so this info really helps.
I was wondering if there was any new technology available prior to ordering our fifth wheel.
You have both been very helpful as always:) Thank you. Dixie
