Being a Diesel mechanic, Welder, and i might go into looking a bit at a certified nursing assistant?
As a welder, well, the limit is the sky really, i can be building and installing vegi-oil systems for people, building and installing trailer hitches for those who diddent buy the RV able to tow things, and have realized having a car would be nice. (OR, a towable workshop for hobbies and sutch)
Diesel mechanic is self explanitory, I wanna be able to work on my own rig when i need to!!! i mean, granted, i can make it into a income source, but its not huge on my to-do list.
and a nursing assistant i am thinking i might enjoy cause i enjoy helping people. plus, it is a strong career and nurses are nice people (speaking from experience in the hospital)
Anyhow, as i said, im still in planning, but what are your 2cents?

That is a WIDE range of opertunity...I will have to say that. Now If it were me and I was going to full time in an RV and wanted to see much of this country...I would look into the welding opertunities and travel to different job as they came available. I know many young men that travel in RVs to constructioin jobs all over the United States. Some are electricians plumbers and welders. They go where the work is and stay till the job plays out. They make good money and live cheap.
For What it is worth..

I know there are a lot of great opportunities for traveling nurses. Not sure about traveling nursing assistants but you might check it out. There are always nurse shortages everywhere and we certainly need "nice" nurses and you sound like you would be one ! Brenda

National Parks hire nurses for the summer season however getting a position in a hospital might be tough. If I was hiring someone to work in a hospital and someone applied that was living in an RV the first thing that would enter my mind is how long is this person going to stay before they want to go somewhere else.
