We purchased our Select Suite new in 2008. I still work full time and need daily access to a desk and computer. We have decided a MH would work better for us. We love our 5'ver and this was not an easy decision. The Select Suite is fully loaded and even includes a real "auto leveling system". We have put it on consigment at the dealer in which it was purchased. It is a 36 foot RK3. We also have a 2006 F350 equipped to tow for sale.

Looks like a very nice 5'er. Have you picked out a MH yet?

I love the Allegro Bus. Was there any other reason you decided you wanted a MH over a fifth wheel?

Hi Dixie,
No other reason. We didn't realize we would be doing as much traveling as we are. We have several trips already planned for 2009. Jerry and I are enjoying the RV Dream even more than we thought we would.

I'll have to agree....If you are moving a lot the MH is the way to go. 5th wheels are for longer stays and not traveling day to day. We owned a MH and that is the way we traveled. We did not have much time to stay anyone place so the MH was idea for moving down the highway. People that like to see a lot in a short time should think about a MH rather than a 5th wheel. Now that we are close to retirement and our income is being reduced greatly...we have to take advantage of the monthly rates at a better price...staying for a month is better for us in a 5th wheel than it was in the MH.
Good luck to you and hope to meet you on the highway soon.

I don't know. We've been on the road over 3 years now and average moving about every 5 days. We find the fiver just fine and wouldn't have it any other way.

We still love our Elite Suites fiver and I guess people have to choose whatever is convient for them. Right now we are house sitting in the mountains of N.M. and have a RV site beside the house. southwestjudy

Speedy you always have great feedback. I am trying to get Jerry to agree to calendar the RV Dreams Rally now so we can get it on the itinerary. <g>We look forward to meeting you in person.

We visited with Coleen and Jerry down in Texas back in February. I can attest this fiver is a great unit. I was impressed with the size of the kitchen sinks. Coleen treated us to her great homemade Gumbo and had no problems washing those big pots in the sinks.
Lovely, beautiful, well kept "home"
We wish Coleen and Jerry great traveling in their new rig. Nice people!
