Sorry Howard about your beloved Louisville....they were a little off today and Michigan State played well. The pressure did not seem to faze them. I think I will now cheer for Mich State (never have been a fan...Larry Bird baby!). They have to be the "feel good" story for this year's Final Four...anybody but North Carolina!

Well, I'd normally root for the team that has not already won a National Championship. But since the final four teams all have won at least one, I'm not sure who I'll be cheering for.
Being a Kentucky boy, it certainly won't be North Carolina. Too much debate about which state is the king of college basketball and Carolina/Duke have been arch rivals of Louisville/Kentucky in the NCAA for years.
I think Connecticut is the strongest team, but I'll probably pull for Villanova. At least Louisville beat them twice this year and that would make us look a little better.
Ah, but the Louisville women made the Final Four for the first time ever. I can at least root for them. At least they wouldn't have to play Connecticut until the finals. UCONN has already beaten them twice this year by 40 points each time.

I just don't get it. Don't like basketball, and haven't since I was a kid when I got a bloody nose at the YMCA (where the game was invented!) from what was supposed to be a non-contact sport. What good does the whistle do when the damage is already done?
