Does anyone know anything about this 5th wheel or the manufacturer? According to the ad it is 40' long, and has 2 slides. I have no idea of the quality that Belair put(s?) out or how difficult it would be to get parts. I appreciate any information.

Are you sure this is the brand name? Check and see who it is made by. I have heard of a Presidential but not Bel Air?

Thanks for the reply Speedy! That is what the advertisement said. I had never heard of it either but when I looked at some websites like rvt.com which let you search by manufacturer it shows Belair as a manufacturer. I just looked at "Belair" on the NADA website a couple of minutes ago and it says that after 1992 look at American Travel Systems. At least that gives me someplace else to look now. I am still very interested in hearing any information anyone here may have to supplement what I find elsewhere online. It looks like we will be getting whatever we get in April so I guess it is time to get down to business.

With all of the thousands, if not tens of thousands of used RV's available in the market today, does it make any sense to even consider a brand that nobody seems to have heard of and went out of business 15 years ago?
Just a thought.

I agree with Fred. Better to stick with well known brands...

Fred and Dan, I agree completely. I didn't know until now that nobody had heard of the brand. Until the last few weeks the last time I did any research into RV's was 1988 when I bought a travel trailer. I sold the trailer in 1993 and haven't owned an RV since. So I am pretty much a newbie at the stuff that is out now. I just stumbled across an add, the price was good and it wasn't very far away. I thought before I wasted my time driving out to look at it I would find out if it was a quality brand or not. I didn't find anything right away so I yelled help. I tried to call about it today and the phone had been disconnected so I guess the point is pretty moot now.
