I created my RVing blog some months ago and installed site meter in order to keep track of the number of visitors. I have had several questions and comments from readers asking if I kept journals while backpacking on the Appalachian Trail, and also during the time I lived in Ireland. I kept journals for both, and thought I would simply create an additional blog for each of them and link them to my RVing blog. I don't think it's the best way, however, as there will be no new entries on either of them - once you've read it, that's it. And when I tried to install the site-meter I have on the RVing blog to the Ireland blog, it comes up with the number of hits I've had on my main blog.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can get the two additional journals on the web? I don't have the understanding of creating a web site, nor do I want to take the time to learn it. It took me long enough to finally come up with my RVing blog, and I still can't get that one the way I want it, so I'm not crazy about learning another system. I would really appreciate suggestions, comments, and ideas. Thanks.

Having been to Ireland I would LOVE to read your blog. I wish I would have blogged while I was there.

Hi Deb, Where in Ireland and when were you there?
I have the journal at: http://gypsyinireland2000-2003.blogspot.com/ for the time being. I don't think I like it there, and when you click on it you can see that the sitemeter is not separate from my RVing blog.
Also, it is just one long entry, whereas I tried to break up my Appalachian Trail journal into more readable sections. http://www.freewebs.com/gypsy97/
The Ireland journal is missing so many entries I think I will let it go until I get back to my storage in Asheville & see what I can find, but I may end up putting it up on freewebs. Let me know what you think, and thanks.
