I just wanted to update the forum members on my RV search.I have a question I'd like to ask anyone who may have any helpful input. I've been looking for a used RV/Class A for my full timing adventure which should be beginning in the next 30 to 60 days. I have a question for any RV experts/mechanics/Holiday Rambler owners. I have a friend of mine who's father wants to sell his 1990-29 Ft.- Holiday Rambler. He is now retired and used to be a bus mechanic here in the San Francisco bay area. I went over to take a look at this RV and I was really impressed at how good of shape it was in. This guy was not only a bus mechanic which allowed him to keep the engine or anything mechanical in tip top shape, but he was also a bus painter and recently re-painted the RV. It looks great. If I knew how to copy and paste a pic into my post, I would, so everyone could see. The inside is all newly done with new carpets and flooring. All the appliances work great and he said if anything ever went wrong to come back to him and he would always be willing to help me diagnose/fix whatever the problem was. What a great opportunity! For a first-timer going fulltiming, I figured this would be perfect, until I decide when I want to upgrade to a newer RV down the road. Anyway, since I have a good relationship with his son, he is willing to let it go for a very very inexpensive price. My question to to the forum members is does anyone know of any problems or issues with this make and model that I should watch out for if not now, then eventually? Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated.
