I was on the escapees forum yesterday and saw a post where one of the escapees fulltimers had posted his resume on the Craiglist for the area he was in and was contacted with 4 job offers.
He posted in the "resumes" section and listed what he was looking for in the way of a temporary job along with his qualifications. He said he got 4 offers right away. He accepted one and was very happy with the offer.
In California, Craigslist is split up into numerous metropolitan areas (there are six just in the LA area alone), which help to narrow down your search or in this case where you are looking for work.
So all you would have to do is post your resume and job needs on the Craigslist in the areas you would like to visit and hopefully the job offers would start coming in.
Thought I would pass this on, I didn't even realize Craigslist had a spot to post resumes. Sounds like it's another avenue on the information super highway to help find jobs. It worked for the escapees member.
