We are thinking of going to the Tacoma RV Show and Sale this weekend. Has anyone been to this show before? It's a bit of a trip from here, and a bit expensive when you factor in ferry fares and hotels. I am wondering if it is worth the trip or will it be a disappointment?

No matter what the cost you should experience all the RVs you can if you intend to buy one and live in it. Sherri spent years on the internet studing RVs and every show we could get to we got there to check out the units they had. I don't think that you could spend too much money or time in researching this kind of purchase. If anyone on this forum can be of assistance please feel free to ask questions and we will try to answer them the best we know how.

Before we bought our first RV in late 2001 we would always go to the Tacoma RV Show in January and the Seattle RV Show in February (I think) and found them both worthwhile for us. Tacoma was about a 50 mile drive and Seattle about 20 so they were day trips. I am not sure any RV show would be worth staying in a motel/hotel for. We did that once for the Salem, OR RV Show and decided we were nuts.
