Found a new use for my Dremel Tool with a sanding barrel tool attached.

I took my dad to the podiatrist to have his toe nails worked on.  The toe nails on my dad's big toes have some sort of problem where they get really thick and due to neglect have begun to grow up instead of out.  One toe nail was about a half inch tall.

Anyway, the DR. whipped out a Dremel Tool, put a sanding barrel on it and began shaping my dad's toe nails.   He got them down to normal thickness in no time.

I've used my Dremel for wood, metal, rock, jewelry, plastic, home projects, car repairs....never thought of it as a toe nail sander.

Thought I would pass the tip along.....

Next time my dad's toe nails get out of line, I'll save us a 2 hour DR. Office visit
 (110 minutes in waiting room, 10 minutes with DR.) and sand them myself.

Dremel tool can also be used to file down dog claws and round them off so they are not so sharp.

I would love to see my dogs sit still while a dremel tool is used on them.

We actually use a Peticure which is nothing more than a dremel tool with a cap on the end where the individual claw goes in. When we meet up at Peace River we will show you how it works and let you try it.
