RV Park Recommendation, McAllen, TX

Looks like we may be travelling to McAllen, TX, area around the end of December. Does anyone have a favorite place to park in that area? Also, please let me know if you think reservations would need to be made ahead of time at the place you are recommending. Thanks
We stayed in the Rio Grande Valley last year. THere are lots of great places. Suggest you try VICTORIA PALMS in Donna (just east of Mcallen). The one thing to keep in mind is that Mcallen is about an hour from the coast. If you like water its a bit far...Harlengen or Brownsville might be more to your liking. The Valley is a great area...you'll enjoy it.
