We don't have any experience with the Alumascape, however, we have a 2003 Holiday Rambler 36' Presidential 5er which we absolutely love. It's our first 5er and will probably be our only. :) Good luck!

Do not be afraid of an alumiscape. I own a 2002 32rld and it is a great 5th wheel. We only spend 6 months a year in it but it works great. My buddy has a 36 pres that he full times in and I can not see alot of differance between the two models. Dollar for dollar I would buy another HR 5th wheel. Now if I wanted to spend twice the money than that is another story.Another couple just bought a KZ Escalade and that is a real nice 5th with great woodwork. Much more of a full timer but heavey. Rob

Take care of what you have and it will take care of you. There is not a coach made that is impervious to rough care. I have seen some "Fulltime" Stix and Bricks that did not hold up to full time use due to poor care by the owners.
Enjoy and take care of it and have fun on the road.
