I have to say that I am completely addicted to reading everyone's travel journal. The stories and the photos fill me with anticipation for our trip, more so now that our departure date is so close. I have added many of your blogs as links in our blog and will soon add more as I have more time to read your stories. I must say that there are a lot of great photographers out there. Keep up the good work!

I know that I too am so addicted to reading blogs. Before we went fulltime it gave me hope and I loved reading about where everybody was and what they were doing. Now that we are fulltime I still read them hoping to cross paths someday with the people I've been living vicariously through for so long.

Me too !!!
If only I could get my wife addicted, maybe she would consider selling the house ("Over her dead body") and fulltiming.
I enjoy reading about all of the wonderful places and adventures.

This has got to be the blogginest forum on the internet. It is fun keeping up with all the blogs. I thoroughly enjoy each and everyone of them. Like Froggi I read ALL of them. It excites me when I find one I haven't read - I always go back to the beginning - it's like reading a good book.

You get a lot of information from the forums on line but I have found that you get the rest of the story on blogs related to contributors. It seems that we portray ourselves differently when we our telling our story. So if I want to know if they really love brand x RV then I check out their blog and find out about their troubles and trials. That way I get a feel for their information and much more.
Love to read the blogs because of the freedom and spirit portrayed by an overview of daily life on the road, in camp, or just sharing with others. Isn't the internet great. One problem is that often we are just too busy to read or contribute.

Add me to the addiction train! :) Of course, I think Froggi wins the prize on the most blogs. But, I sure enjoy the ones I read. Thanks to all of you for sharing your view of the dream.

Back in the fall of 2003 I became aware of this phenomenon called Fulltime RVing through websites that I accidently discovered. I became totally enthralled with the idea of living and traveling in an RV but it took me a couple of years to convince the DOW that this was the way to go. Finally, in 2006 she came to me and said, "What are we waiting for?" We listed the house, which sold in 10 weeks, and "hit the road" - We've never looked back. With the price of fuel our travels will slowdown a little but this lifestyle is still less expensive than living in a house. Websites and blogs are a great source of information for what to see, where to go, and where to stay. Along the way we have met a lot of people and now enjoy following their travels as they do ours. We always look forward to meeting these folks again and again as we continue Wandering America. A website or blog can become a nice little hobby and with all the free blogging opportunities available I would advise everyone to give it a try. The rest of us would enjoy hearing your story.
