We are looking for a campground within 50 miles of the Modesto,California
Would like to have full hookups if possible or at least electric (30 to 50 AMP service). Would like a campsite with lake or river view & access.
Saw Knights Ferry RV Resort on the web. Looks nice but only 14 sites and no full hookups.
Anyone ever stay at Knights Ferry Resort ? If so how was it ?
Any other ideas for RV parks in the area ?

Plans changed a little and we ended up making reservations at the Seqouia RV Ranch in Three Rivers, CA. just outside of Seqouia National Park. I spoke with the owner Mitch Brandon and found him to be a very amiable person, a true RV'er. He said he and his wife have been working hard to improve the campground. It sounds like it's a great park in a wonderful setting. We'll be there the fourth week in April. I'll post a review of the park on the forum when we get back.
Thanks for the post on the Sequoia RV Ranch. We are now in Ca. and will be here til Aug, going to see the Sequoia (redwoods) and will keep this place in my favorites. southwestjudy
