Well, after several years of research we (husband Lee and I Loralie) just put a hold on a used 5th wheel and truck. We are planning on going full time next winter, but this set came up and we decided to grab it! However, we are in De and it is in Arizona. So we are going out there in March to get it and drive it home. Now we have never driven or used a 5th wheel - so maybe we are just a little crazy. I'm looking for an RV driving school in Arizona and have found several possibilities. Does anyone know of one to recommend? How about a campgroun in Tucson where we can stay for a few days while we get fitted up?

Edit: I just found out there are a few openings left at Life on Wheels in Tucson, AZ March 18-22. If that matches your schedule you can sign up (be quick) and take all manner of RV and full-timing classes and arrange with RV Driving School for lessons. Thanks Bill. We did a LOW in Pa a couple of years ago and as this time we will be presed for time, I think I'm going to try and find someone to come out to us. But I'll check with Dick's...thanks! Know any good campgrounds?

I commend you on finding someone to help you learn how to drive your new rig.  So many people just start driving with absolutely no idea what they are doing. Some of them are a real hazard on the road.

Thanks Judy. We need to be up near Cortaro Farm road. I think that's in the Oro Valley, so I'm looking in that area. There do seem to be a lot of places, so I'm confident we'll find one. We just need it for two nights in the middle of the week. Loralie

Ohhh, Oro Valley. Those I mentioned (Except Catalina) won't be of much help to you as it would be quite a drive especially with the road construction on the I-10.
