A new job, a new blog and a new lifestyle. After 6 months of unemployment, I finally got a new job. As a contract underwriter, it has been pretty slow since last fall. I got a contract in Richmond, VA and with it the opportunity to start full-timing. I will be going it alone for a while, my DH, Tom, will stay behind to work till he retires in March 2009. This makes me sad, but the additional income will help make the dream of us both on the road happen sooner and easier.

Welcome to Richmond! I lived there for 15 years before starting this mostly FT thing. I keep my mailbox there (a UPS store) and (unfortunately sometimes) my sticks-n-bricks there. If you have any area questions send me an email or PM! Welcome!
PS are going to be at BofA downtown or the ops center in North Side? Sure wish there were more campground options for you!

Thanks so much RVDude. I am really hoping it warms up quickly as this Texas girl is not used to winter lasting more than about 3 days lol. I will be at the BOA Ops Center in North Richmond. Luckily there is one CG 7 miles from there. It is also the only CG in the area that is relatively save. I will let you know when I get there and settled. Thanks for the offer of assistance. I just may take you up on it!
