I don't know if this has been posted, I don't remember seeing it. It is fantastic, the ex-military folks will understand how difficult this is. I hope it works.
Here's a link to the performance of the US Marine Drill Team at a recent Denver Nuggets Basketball game. It almost makes your hair stand on end. For those of you who have spent some time in the military... this Platoon performance makes you almost want to cry... knowing the discipline and practice time it takes to execute a military drill with arms routine flawlessly - with fixed bayonets.

From 1968 through 1972 I was a member of the United States Marine Band, Washington DC, and I had the privelege of seeing these men perform almost every Friday night during the summer months at the Sunset Parade at the Marine Barracks. I can tell you, they most certainly did spend hours and hours practicing. Those are not fake bayonets, and this video clip does not show everything that they do...
I don't know if they still do the Sunset Parades, but if they do, and you're in the DC area during the summer, go see it. You will always remember it.

I have had the honor of seeing them perform a few times. Absolutely Awe Inspiring. The endless days, months practicing this shows in every performance.
And never a word is spoken.

Don't forget, these rifles the guys are flipping about are M-1 Garands. Weight 11.7 lbs, and then the bayonet. Want to make sure you never get one of 'em unhappy with you. These guys are absolutely awesome. Makes you proud to know we have young men like them.
