Holy Cow!!! I didn't think this was EVER going to happen. We finally closed escrow on our house!! We were supposed to close on the 25th of October and it finally happened on the 20th of December. I won't go into details as they are way to complicated and way too long of an discussion. Just suffice it to say that if you're ever trying to sell on your own hire a Real Estate Attorney. Best money we ever spent. We are sitting in the parking lot of the Camping World in Pooler, GA because we're waiting for the hitch to be installed in the truck. It really doesn't matter. We would be happy sitting ANYWHERE but in our sticks and bricks house. We'll have Christmas with my niece and her family because they are only 10 miles away. I will be starting a blog but right now I'm just basking in my new found freedom!! What a GREAT feeling!!!

Hip Hip Horray! It is always good news to hear of another couple "hitting the road". May 2008 and the fulltiming lifestyle be all that you had hoped. Who knows, maybe we'll bump into each other, it is always a special treat when you meet up with people that you know from cyberspace. God be with you.

Congratulations! It is a great lifestyle. We can't think of doing anything else after four years of it. You do not have to go very far to stay warm since you are starting in Sunrise, FL. We are in Fort Myers for the winter.

Congratulations!!!! Isn't it a wonderful feeling? We have been "homeless" for 5 weeks since our house closed. We are impatiently waiting on the delivery of our fifth wheel which is suppose to head our way December 26th, weather permitting.
2008 looks to be a fabulous year. Like you, I will start a blog once we get settled in.
We wish you safe travels and hope to meet you out on the road.

WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!
It is now time for the big WOOO HOOO which is reserved for the actual closing of the sale. The contract, as we have told many, is just the first step and only gets a little Woo Hoo.
We have had you in our thoughts with our fingers crossed for you since we met in Spring 2006 at the Rally in Daytona. We know how long you have been waiting. What a great way to end the year!
Congrats Debbie & Rod! Can't wait to see you in a campsite next to us somewhere.

Debbie and Rod -- Congratulations on the sale of your house. I know you must feel so excited. We also sold our house and are living in our trailer while working fulltime at our jobs until May 30 '08 when we will hit the road to freedom. We feel the Lord leading us to do some volunteer work as we travel this great country of ours. We wish the best for you both.

Thank You Everybody!!! We're overwhelmed by the responses. We just feel so lucky and so blessed to be able to do this. We still find it hard to believe that it really has happened. We don't have internet or TV hooked up yet but we're using the free wi-fi from the hotel across the street and we get 2 channels on the TV. It's okay. Like we said before, anything beats living in our sticks and bricks house when that's not where we wanted to be and hey, hookups are free here in the Camping World parking lot.
We will all be looking forward to hearing about your travels. Penny, TX
