Just thought I would drop a line and see what is going on.  I have been retired for 1 year from General Motors/Delphi.  We are not quite ready to full time but the thought is never far from our minds.  Nice site!  Kudo's to Howard & Linda.

I was driving to Florida in my Chevy diesel pu when I the crank broke.  This all happened in Mobile Alabama on a busy, busy friday afternoon.  After much aggrevation we rented a car and continued on with our trip.  When we got to Florida I went looking for trucks, after looking for 1 week we found a Ford diesel and a Chevy diesel truck with almost identical mileage, year, interior ect.  I made an offer on the Chevy and they would not come down on price but with the Ford they did. So I bought the Ford and towed my Chevy back to Texas with the Ford.  The Ford is the best towing vehicle that I have ever owned.  Up until this I was a die hard Chevy truck person.  As far as driving a Ford and working at GM all one has to do is drive to any GM plant and look at the different assortment of vehicles that people drive.  Go figure. 

We don't care what you drive here. We are just glad that you have joined our number. Stay in touch with us. We have a great family here and we all help each other out. Again wellcome aboard from all of us here. Joe and Sherri
