We joined Recreation USA, a $10 per nite RV network. The home park of Recreation USA is Eagle's Landing in Holt, FL, just East of Pensacola. What a neat park. All sites are pull thrus, 100 ft long and 35 ft wide. It is a very neat and clean park and the $10 a nite fee makes it even more enjoyable.

I joined Recreation USA last year. Though we're just part-timers now, it's already paid for itself many times over. They have many $10/night campgrounds with full hookups and unlimited stay in their system. I was able to find a nice $10/night full hook-up campground in Cherokee, NC during color season last year. Passport America's Smoky Mountain campgrounds all had the entire month of October blocked out.
If we were using them exclusively when fulltiming this would reduce our "rent and utilities" to only $300/month. That's cheaper than most monthly rates and we can stay however long or briefly we'd like. To put things in perspective, that's about what I currently pay each month in property taxes alone. Looked at another way, it's less than my S&B's monthly electric bill for: rent, electric, water, garbage disposal, sewer, property taxes, yard maint., pool and recreational facility maint., etc. True, some campgrounds are nicer than others, but we've been impressed with their overall quality. Most have much less restrictions than the other club's campgrounds too.
