For those of you who know me from the Chat Room, I just want to thank you all for the prayers and thoughts during my mother-in-law's illness. Every night that I could get to the chat room, you all expressed your thoughts and prayers, and then let me have a little fun and distraction, which was very much needed.
She passed away last night about 9:15. We are very sad to lose her, but glad that her suffering is over.
We'll be back on the road soon, after being in Arlington, Texas most of our time as fulltimers. It will be a new experience for us! See you in chat....and hope to meet every one of you on the road!
Happy Travels Ellie

My prayers are with you Ellie. The loss of a parent is not easy, but having to await their passing is even harder. Knowing they are at peace and painless forever, in itself, is comforting. I want you to know many are holding you close right now and would help, if only they could.
Celebrate your mother's life, and then renew again to live yours.

Jim & Ellie, I'm just now getting ought up on my journal reading & read about the loss of your loved one. Our thoughts & prayers are with you & Jim. With the loss of your loved one, it may seem like winter has come to stay, but take comfort in your memories of her & hold tight to the knowledge that spring will come again.

We are sorry to hear of your loss also. Right now my dear mom is in a nursing home with dementia. We are full timing now and was back home where she was for 2 months....she will never improve so more or less Ive said my "Good-bys" to her and it is sad for me. I do write her often and call. This is very hard when you make the decision to full time. southwestjudy & Bob & 2blackdogs

Ellie, we are so sorry for your loss, but know that she is at peace now; and now, you may be at peace also, as I know it has been very stressful for you.
Big hugs to both of you! We'll look forward to seeing you in Quartzite, if not before.
