Being a child of Depression Era parents I always heard stories of the good work of the CCC (and Mr Roosevelt). The work they did and the stories behind that work have always fascinated me. When thinking of travel, I'd like to visit many of those sites. Does anyone know of a site which lists historic CCC buildings?

Judy,
I found some info by doing a search of CCC. You should be able to get some info that way.

My dad and uncles were workers in CCC camps thru out the state of Illinois and the Pacific Northwest. I now live in Texas and there are numerous state parks that were built by the CCC's. With that being said one of our most favorite parks is in Lawton Oklahoma and is called the Wichita Mts. Wildlife Refuge and was built by the CCC's. If you do come across a site that is is "user friendly" that lists these sites send me a email. I too am interested.
