My wife Nancy and I are working musicians who are in the process of selling our house, buying a rig for fulltiming, and heading off for Branson to pursue our music careers. You can visit us at www.MusicByHeartsOnFire.com.
I just came across this website yesterday and am thrilled with it so far. Has anyone had experience with the real estate selling services listed on here? We plan to take off as soon as our house sells. We have decided on the 5er route as the configuration that makes the most sense for the life style we are planning i.e. traveling 2 to 3 times per year and going where the tourists are.
Hey Howard, there is a good chance that Nancy and I will be in Branson by the time of the Rally. We'd be happy to donate our services for our fellow fulltimers if you're planning any shindigs.
Thanks for your site,
Bill Paroli Rhinebeck, NY (for now)

Hello and how cool is that! Volunteering music.
Good luck in your quest, I so admire those who travel the road of their "heart's fire". As Joseph Campbell so aptly put it: We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

Bill & Nancy,
Congratulations and welcome!!
We are also in the process of selling our cabin in Mountain View, Arkansas (2 hrs from Branson) and going full time in a 5er! Can't wait to get on the road.
This site is incredible! We love it and can't wait to meet so many nice people.
We will be new at the full timing lifestyle, but can't wait. We retired last year and moved to Mountain View. Tim loves to fly fish and ride our Goldwing on the curvy roads in Arkansas and has done a lot of both since we've been here. However, there is so much more to see and do in this wonderful country of ours and we can't wait to pursue our dream. We hope to be in Branson for the rally next year also.
As far as the sale of your place, we have had our cabin on Homes by Owner for a month now. It has gotten a lot of hits, but haven't gotten a buyer yet. It seems to be a very good sight and offers several options to sell. We did the $79.00 deal that gives you 5 pictures online and runs the ad for a year or until you sell. You can go to homesbyowner.com/37721 and view our ad and see what it looks like. The ad is also on Yahoo Real Estate, too. Check it out.
Good luck and hopefully we'll see you before too long.

HI Bill and Nancy. Welcome to the greatest place on earth....short of being on the road to a new site. Hope all works out for you. If you have any questions this is the place to ask them. We have some of the most knowledgable people right here on this forum. You might want to check out the chat room and meet some of the good folks there. Again welcome from all of us.

Hi Bill & Nancy!
As you can see, our wonderful Forum members take care of welcoming new folks for us.
Glad you found us. I'll be happy to offer any generic advice I can on the sale of your home.
And I'm sure we can use some professionals for a shindig in Branson in 2008. Keep us posted on your whereabouts, and we will certainly keep you in mind as the "itinerary" morphs into something.
Welcome aboard!
