We are looking for RV jargon that is common among RVers but may not be understood by non-rvers.
For example: Blueboy Honey Wagon Boondocking

I'm amazed at how many people don't even know what a 5th wheel is. When people ask us why we're selling our house we just tell them we bought an RV because when we used to say we bought a 5th wheel, the comment always was, "a what?"

It would really be great if folks would explain what the words and phrases mean. I'm so in the dark on most of them!

We aren't out there yet but can help with some terms:
toad = towed vehicle snowbird = some one who goes to warmer weather in winter
5er = fifth wheel
fulltimer = someone living full time in a 5er or coach or tag-a long but not in a home that doesn't move down the road one way or another.
Basement = same as a stationary home...below the living area (in a 5er or coach is mainly storage...can't walk there like reg. home)

Hey Jon,
It might be easier to just Google "RV Glossary". That will bring up several sites. They overlap on a lot of terms, but then they each have terms the others don't.
I'll help you out with the ones that still don't make sense.
I need to put a Glossary together for our site as well. And I don't even know what some of the terms listed here mean.
