Some of you may have noticed the new Whiteboard feature in your Profile. I didn't know what it was or how to use it, so today I asked.
The Whiteboard is another way for Forum members to communicate privately. Want to post a note for someone? Just find them on the User List, click on their name in a forum post, or click on their name at the bottom of the Main Page if they are online.
You will bring up their Profile and you should see a "whiteboard". Just type your message on the whiteboard. The next time that member logs in, they will see "You have ___ Whiteboard messages" and they can go check it out.
It's not an online chat. Linda was hoping for that.
And it's not even as good as a Private Message. So it's not really all that useful. But it is quick and easy.
Now we all know.

Speaking of chat functions, what are the chances of adding one to the forum?

I have been wanting that function for quite some time now. Just ask Howard how much I have been whining about it.
Well I got tired of whining and decided to do a little research and found out that Instant Messaging software runs about $3,000 big ones. So that put a cork in it.

That software sounds really expensive, we will just have to find an existing chat service such as MSN or AIM and form an RV Dreams chat room ...... Sorry if I am getting off subject...... Don
