I've always been a backpacker, tentcamper and pop-up camper, however I am getting my first 5er, a weekender until I am ready to fulltime. My question is....where does one get sheets that fit a 4" shorter mattress? I toss and turn a bit and loose sheets will just not work for me. Thanks for your help.

I just buy regular sheets and don't notice any difference. We still have to stretch them to get them on the bed. You'd never know that the bed isn't a regular queen size.

I use regular size sheets also!
Our mattress is normal size King but they rounded off the corners for easy access around it.

I had this problem, and solved it by purchasing elastic straps that keep the fitted sheet snug on the mattress. I found at Wal-Mart, fabric stores sometimes have them as well or any bedding dept. store.

Thanks for all of your replies. I'll try regular sheets and if they don't work to my satisfaction, I have the elastic straps option. Thanks again

Does anyone have a problem keeping the flat sheet tucked in at the end of the bed? I'm talking about the top sheet - the one that covers - not the fitted sheet? I do and I am curious if others do as well. From the few comments above I have a feeling others do. Is this common for Motorhomes?

We have a big sheet of non-slip material between the platform and the mattress and that seems to do the trick. Newmar supplied it but I have seen something similar at Home Depot for to keep rugs from sliding on a wood floor.

We also use the elastic straps and attach them to both the fitted
and the top sheet and the mattress pad on the bottom end.

We actually bought a set of regular Queen size sheets from JC Penney. They have the elastic all the way around the edges instead of just on the corners. Worked great for us.

You can sew the flat top sheet to the bottom fitted sheet (as in the old water-bed sheets) and they dont' come untucked.
