I am currently in serious negotiations for purchasing an 07 Winnebago Journey 39K for our fulltime rig.  It is equipped with a sat TV dome (King Dome brand) that is for stationary viewing.  It can be upgraded to in motion, which is what I want.  The dealer wants $1500 to upgrade, Camping World sells the upgrade kit for $600, with an install price of $71.00.  Can't get the dealer to throw it in, I guess I've chewed him down as far as he can go on the sale price.

Has anyone upgraded their satellite?  I'm pretty sure I can do it, but I'd hate to burn my new MH to the ground if I make a mistake.
