This unthinkable act has reached every corner of our nation and beyond. The nation will grieve together.

In our area, the students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have organized a candlelight vigil tonight at 8 PM to express our communities deepest sympathies and send condolences to those affected by this horrific tragedy.

The students who are planning tonights vigil said it best:
"For today, we are all Hokies".

May they all rest in peace.

I think of all the families affected (with our 2 teenaged sons safe in their beds) as I close my eyes at night and when they open in the morning.


The video is powerful stuff-some can speak volumes with so few words-if you haven't seen it, I urge to to take the time to watch.  It's only a few minutes.
