Has anyone found a reliable shredder-y'know, one that actually shreds?

We have a small one we got at either Staples or Office Depot. The hole is the size of a CD/DVD and it can shred those and credit cards. To shred an 8x11 paper you fold it in thirds. Shred for 5 minutes, let it cool for 10 and it has been going strong for about 3 years. It comes with its own basket for the shred. It is labelled an "Executive Disk Shredder".

I found an eight-page, cross-cut shredder at Staples (SPL-826X) that has it's own "see through" basket (So you can see when it is getting about full). It also has a slot for credit cards. I have been very pleased with it as I clean out our files in preparartion for full-timing. It has not over heated yet. As I recall it was $50. or so.

Just to follow-up. I bought a Dynex cross-cut shredder (DXOP7CC) at Best Buy for 29.99 and so far it works like a charm! I've had it a couple of months now. So if anyone else wants to buy a shredder, this seems to be a good one for household use.
