When was the last time and how many miles have passed since you had your wheels greased and your brakes checked on your 5th wheel or trailer? Most recommend 10,000 miles or a year whichever comes first. But really, how long has it been?
Honestly we just scheduled our first time in this rig in almost 3 years and about 20,000 miles. No problems but we wonder what they will find. Shame on us?

We had ours done after 2 years of getting our new 5th wheel and about 8,000 miles. I had a mechanic friend do it and I helped. We have those EZ lube bearings and he used synthectic grease. That was two years ago and maybe 8,000 miles at the most. I am going to carefully add some grease with the same grease pretty soon and see if I can see some of the old grease come out the weepe holes. You have to be very careful not to blow grease past the seals. I usually feel all four wheels after towing to see if one is any hotter than the others.
