We are still in the research mode, and checking out fifth wheels for when we do go full time in just under three years. We have been to quite a few RV shows and have checked out websites and forums. Just today, we came across a fifth wheel RV manufacturer that we hadn't previously heard of: Alfa. We checked out the website, and were particularlly impressed with the "See Ya Goid". I beieve this is their top end model, and it seems to come equipped very nicely. According to the manufacturer, it is built well, insulated well, has some nice floor plans...I was expecially impressed with the 100 water fresh water tank, dual 116 gray water tanks, and 55 gallon black water. It also has the air conditioning unit underneigh, boasting that it is quieter than roof-mounted models. The MSRP of this unit is in the $79,000.00 price range (lower than some of the top end models we've looked at). We haven't seen any of these fifth wheels at any of the shows we've been to. We did see that the factory is in California. Does anyone own one of these, or otherwise have any first-hand knowlege of the quality...liveability of these units?
Thanks for the infor.

I would like to add to this the Class A Diesel Pusher - --- We are pretty much set on this for our fulltiming home later this year, but would like to hear from anybody out there with pros and cons.

we looked real hard at the Alpha fifth wheels along with many others. We were going to go with a Class A then decided that for the way we were going to travel and the usable space issue we went with a fifth wheel other than the Alpha. I would be happy to visit with you and tell you the good , bad and ugly of some of the choices out there and why we went with what we did. We researched the ell out of doing this in an effort to minimize the probability of making bad decisions, which have been minimal so far for us. my email is thoma@bigfoot.com if you want to get further into this. I by no means want to infer that I know it all but have a huge amount of information guiding our choices
